The Warehouse Rock Gym is home to absolutely the best climbing community I have ever been a member of. Everyone there is great, friendly and more than willing to help! I can’t count the number of times I’ve been projecting a route, and someone came along to help me figure out the moves. Climbing there is fun, and it’s easy to spend a few hours a day down there! Plus, when the sun is out, the barn door is open and you’ve got a glorious breeze coming in.

I was actually surprised to find out that Olympia had a climbing gym, and right down the street from me nonetheless. Located in the same building as The Alpine Experience – if you fail to inquire as to the existence of said gym, you might not notice it, it’s pretty well hidden.
It is quite functional. You can top rope, lead climb and boulder. Personally, I enjoy their bouldering routes the most of all. The staff rocks! They’re super friendly, have a great taste in music and a sense of humor. They aren’t that expensive, and they are uber affordable if you join as a couple.

AWESOME CLIMBING GYM! I first visited WRG about four years ago. Not the biggest and most advanced climbing gym I have ever been to, but it has a very comforting feel to it. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted with a smile. The staff was very helpful and was there for me with anything I needed. The climbs, whether it be bouldering or roped climbing were a lot of fun, and the other climbers were very nice and considerate. I will definitely be back to climb more and will probably have my birthday party there too! Thanks Warehouse Rock Gym!
