Our climbing team is composed of the best and brightest young climbers in the South Sound! In the Fall they competed against fellow climbers across the Northwest, and Caleb, Linzy, Caitlin and Victoria earned invitations to Divisionals. From there, star climber Victoria was invited to participate in the upcoming ABS National Championships in Colorado, where she will compete against the nation’s best boulderers. Be sure to wish her luck if you see her training, Nationals are March 2-4th. Way to go Victoria!!!
We are moving into our spring climbing series with USA Climbing, which encompasses the Sport Climbing Series. If you are interested in joining the climbing team, please call the gym for more information.

Josh McDowell
I began mountain climbing at the age of 6 with my father. We explored and climbed many of the high peaks in the Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges. It wasn’t until my college years that I began rock climbing. For the past two years I have been working as a professional mountain guide for International Mountain Guides (IMG). I also substitute teach in the North Thurston School District. Second only to my lovely wife, climbing is my main passion in life. I am extremely excited to pass my love of climbing onto others, both through guiding, and coaching the Warehouse Rock Gym team.
